Peer Review Process

JCSAI journals are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality and honesty in the peer review process. This journal operates a rigorous peer review procedure involving both internal and external assessors. The process is explained as follows:

Initial Editorial Review: The editor will conduct an evaluation of the manuscript submitted by the author, checking whether the manuscript fits the scope of the journal and adheres to the journal format. At this stage, the editor interacts with the author to determine whether the manuscript is worthy of further review or needs to be rejected.

External Double-Blind Review: Manuscripts that successfully pass initial editorial review will be sent to two or three external reviewers who are not part of the journal's editorial team. The review method uses a double-blind technique to guarantee an objective assessment.

Review Criteria: The review process assesses manuscripts based on aspects such as originality, objectivity, methodology, academic impact, conclusions, and references.

Reviewer Recommendations: Reviewers provide constructive input, provide suggestions for improvement, and provide recommendations for accepting or rejecting the article.

Editorial Decision: The responsible editor takes into account the feedback and suggestions of peer reviewers when making the final decision on the manuscript. The final decision whether a manuscript is accepted or rejected is made by the editor, taking into account the suggestions of the reviewers.

Editor's Decision: The decision of the editor to accept, request resubmission with changes, or reject the manuscript is final. This marks the completion of the double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts received will then be sent for processing and publication. Rejected manuscripts may be resubmitted after significant revisions, but will undergo the complete double-blind peer review process again.
